Carrigaline Library Cork, Ireland - Sysco Library Shelving Reference
Storage Systems Ltd has completed the library shelving fit-out for the New Public Library at Carrigaline in Cork.
The Solution
160 bays of Cantilever Sysco® Library Shelving were installed in various sizes to suit books & periodicals been stored. In the adult section the shelving bays are 1800mm high x 900mm wide fitted with 4 flat shelves, 1 tilted display shelf plus a top canopy and 1500mm high x 900mm wide fitted with 3 flat shelves, 1 tilted display shelf plus a top canopy. In the children's section the shelving bays are 1200mm high x 900mm wide fitted with 3 flat shelves, 1 tilted display shelf plus a top canopy.
All bays installed in the children's section were fitted with castors with lockable brakes. Slatted & Plain Maple Decorative Panels were installed at the ends of each row of shelving to match the library furniture.
