Warehouse Pallet Racking

Advanced storage and logistic solutions

In the past, warehousing racks used to be simple constructions, small in size and low in height. Fortunately, that’s ancient history. Today, we want to make the most of the storage space we’ve got. Using the most advanced logistic solutions. Moreover, the logistic costs (and hence the total storage costs) should be kept down to a minimum.

Warehouse Pallet Racking

Well planned storage can mean an increase in space utilisation by as much as 100%. Storage that’s designed with a clear understanding of the way items are moved and used can save time and speed up processes by a significant degree.

P-90 Narrow Aisle Racking

P-90 Narrow Aisle Racking makes optimum use of available floor area, storage space and warehouse height (up to 12m), while still permitting individual access to each and every pallet. It combines the speed of throughput and access to individual pallets of Adjustable Pallet Racking systems, but an increased use of the space available. Specialist fork lift trucks are required for operating in Narrow Aisles.

P-90 Push Back Racking

High-density live storage is provided by Push Back Racking, where quick and easy access to loads is required. Pallets are loaded into the system from the front, each pallet behind being pushed back further into the rack by the new pallet. Storage two, three or even four pallets deep is possible. Pallets are loaded and unloaded from the same aisle face, reducing truck travel distances, and cutting cycle times. Also known as Last in First Out (LIFO).

P-90 Live Pallet Flow Racking

Roller conveyor racking provides ultra-high density storage for palletised loads, ensuring first-in, first-out (FIFO) stock rotation. Pallets are loaded at the upper end of sloping lanes, and move under the force of gravity when a pallet is taken from the picking face. A block of pallet flow racking requires only two gangways: at the loading and picking faces. Fast cycle times and high occupancy rates can be achieved.

P-90 Drive–in Racking

Storage Systems Ltd drive-in pallet racking can make your warehouse storage space up to 90% more efficient than conventional racking.

Our P-90 Drive-in racking eliminates the need for loading and picking aisles. Pallets are positioned on front-to-back rails, allowing rows to be stacked next to each other. This provides a safe and efficient equivalent to block stacking loads otherwise too fragile for stacking.

P-90 Mobile Powered Racking - MOVO

With mobile pallet racking, individually controlled, powered, mobile racks run on precision-laid steel rails. When a pallet is required, the appropriate aisle is opened up by operating the electrically driven bases. Only one aisle is required to service any number of racks, and space utilisation increases dramatically. Costs for new buildings can be reduced, because less storage space is required for a given number of pallets.

Satellite System

Using a satellite storage system it is possible to automate the storage of goods in high density lanes, allowing the maximum use of a warehouse space. It provides the benefits of capacity provided by drive-in racking without the need for specialised trucks or for operators to enter the racking.

The satellite system works in both FIFO (First In First Out) and FILO (First In Last Out) systems.
