We ensure the environmental awareness of our workforce, by encouraging every employee to act in an environmentally responsible manner. They are asked to contribute to sustainability of the company by using energy, water and raw materials more efficiently, thus optimising our use of natural resources.
Our decision to achieve the international management standard, ISO 14001, demonstrates our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint. This accreditation provides a clear and effective framework for managing compliance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Sustainability is not only incorporated inour business processes, but in the design of our products as well.
Optimise your space
- Our mobile Compactus® storage solutions save space or provide you with the option of using existing space more efficiently. They contribute towards a reduction in operating costs, fuel costs and electricity consumption.
Environment
- Our core products are predominantly made from steel, which is one of the world’s most recycled raw materials. However some waste is inevitably generated, at which point our focus shifts to ensuring that waste material is returned for reprocessing. In addition, whenever we replace steel storage products we ensure that the material is recycled.
- It is possible to incorporate lighting into the design of storage solutions. Integrated lighting in Compactus® solutions will only switch on above the aisle that is open. After use, the lighting automatically switches off.
- All electronically-powered systems operate using low voltage. The electricity consumption is comparable with that of a transistor radio.
- The electricity supply of our electronically-powered systems can be switched off as soon as you leave the room. This functionality is stored in the memory and the system becomes fully operational again as soon as the power is switched back on.

- Sysco® systems and the Compactus® Office line have a modular construction and can be easily extended and moved.
- Sysco® can always be converted into a mobile system and transformed into a Compactus® system.
- By upgrading Compactus® systems with a mechanical drive to Compactus® Electro or Compactus® Power3 they can be easily adapted to modern requirements in the field of ergonomics and safety.
- Our products have a timeless appearance, but if the colours or finish no longer look contemporary, no problem. The finish panels can be easily replaced in the colour and materials that suit a modern look.
The government is an important customer for our company. It therefore goes without saying that we fulfill the requirements and contract criteria of the Dutch government in relation to sustainable purchasing.
